TIFFA EDI Services Reaches 10,000 EDI Message Milestone
TIFFA EDI Services Co., Ltd., a VANS and SI services provider for supply chain and logistics management in Thailand, has successfully processed 10000+ EDI messages in conformance with IATA CARIMP standards for Thailand based forwarding companies.
With the growth in air cargo in Thailand, the country is amongst the top nations for export shipments and hence has significant AWB volume and resultant e-AWB potential. e-AWB is a part of the IATA’s e-freight program which aims at digitizing crucial documents in the air cargo supply chain. The air cargo industry has promoted e-AWB as a way to remove paper copies and enable secure, faster and correct digital transmission of AWB data to airlines. Thailand’s airfreight community has the opportunity to lead the e-freight compliance movement in the region with industry associations like TIFFA driving the technology adoption.
The TIFFA EDI Services-ezyCompliance is powered by UPLIFT- a globally recognized and proven cargo community platform developed by Kale Logistics Solutions. TIFFA EDI, as the trusted partner for all forwarding companies in Thailand is bringing this world class and proven application which lets the forwarders start filing their AWBs electronically immediately. The e-AWB filing service on TIFFA EDI platform is completely compliant with local industry regulations. Forwarders can avail this service by three different mechanisms at present- an EDI Interface (third party interface (TPI) with forwarder’s in-house system), direct filing to the portal using web login and bureau service for forwarders who cannot opt for both TPI and portal.
“We are delighted to cross such a significant mark in such a short time. With the saving potential of 500 Baht per AWB for forwarders in addition to savings in time and efforts, we are confident that TIFFA EDI’s ezyCompliance service will contribute in lowering the logistics transaction costs in Thailand and increasing its EXIM competitiveness. This platform will further facilitate trade in addition to Thailand’s National Single Window for electronic transactions which is emerging as a key requirement for global trade.” said Mr. Anusorn Lovichit- Managing Director, TIFFA EDI Services Co., Ltd.
