Atlas Air Worldwide Appoints New Asia-Pacific Region Vice President
Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. has appointed Chung Mak as Vice President APAC Sales and Marketing for Atlas Air, Inc. His responsibility will be to lead the sales and marketing team in its commercial activities, customer relations and general management in the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Mak will be based in Hong Kong and reporting to Michael Steen, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.

Flynn, President and Chief Executive Officer of Atlas Air Worldwide. “Chung has more than 20 years of experience in the advisory, aviation and aerospace industries in China, the Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East, and a record of developing and managing new and established businesses.”
Mr. Mak has held senior management positions at leading companies such as Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited and the Seabury Group. He received his Bachelor of Applied Science (Civil Engineering) from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, and his Master of Science in Transportation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Mr. Mak succeeds Graham Perkins, who was in charge of the APAC region for Atlas Air since 2002. Mr. Perkins is now in Atlas Air’s European headquarters in Farnborough, England, where he is currently Vice President Europe Middle East India and Africa.
