THAI Attends Princess Srinagarindra Awards Ceremony
Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) attended the Presentation Ceremony of the Princess Srinagarindra Award 2015, which was held at the Chakri Throne Hall of the Royal Grand Palace.
The award was presided over by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, and is conferred annually upon an individual or group of registered nurses and/or registered midwives who have made significant contributions, though direct care, research, education or management, within the nursing profession and/or for the development of the nursing profession.
This year, two nurse leaders were chosen as recipients of the Princess Srinagarindra Award by the Board of Trustees of the Foundation from a list of nominees who are nurses and midwives from all over the World. The two recipients were Associate Professor Pauline Peter Mella, a nurse-midwife from Tanzania who has contributed enormously to the development of the nursing profession in Tanzania, and Dr. Rose Jaele Ndlovu, a nurse-midwife from Zimbabwe who has made significant contributions to the development and advancement of nursing and midwifery services. Attending the Award Presentation and interview were Mrs. Petchpring Sarasin, THAI Vice President Corporate Image and Communication, Professor Tassana Boontong, Vice President of the Princess Srinagarindra Award Foundation under the Royal Patronage.
