Hactl Receives SCA Air Cargo Operator Award

Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) has won the Air Cargo Operator of the Year award in this year’s Supply Chain Asia Awards.

There were eleven Corporate Awards, and a total of twenty-five awards presented at a gala ceremony in Singapore, which was attended by senior representatives of freight and logistics companies, and manufacturers.

The aim of Supply Chain Asia, a not-for-profit professional body, is to bring professionals from within the logistics and supply chain industry together to share knowledge, learn from one another and create opportunities for collaborations.

Its award scheme is based on the decisions of a designated nomination committee for each category, which is given the responsibility of selecting those companies which it considers represent the very best – rather than the largest or busiest – in the industry.

In awarding Hactl with the Air Cargo Operator of the Year award, the organizers stated that it serves to recognize an air cargo operator that prioritizes efficiency, security and customer service.

Hactl Chief Executive Mark Whitehead was handed the award by Mark Goh, Director, Industry Research, The Logistics Institute-Asia Pacific, National University of Singapore. He commented: “I am honored to accept this award on behalf of my entire team, who brave all weathers to keep delivering top class handling service to our 100 airline customers.
“Our goal is to continue to deliver innovative levels of service and endeavor to exceed our customers’ expectations.”
