UPS Names New President Of Global Freight Forwarding
UPS have promoted Cindy Miller to president of global freight forwarding.
Miller’s career at UPS began as a driver in Allentown, Pennsylvania, in 1988, and she has held various positions in UPS all over the world in her 28 years with the company. Prior to her current position, she served as president of the UPS region in Europe. Ms. Miller also directed key expansions in the Healthcare and Retail/B2C sectors, including the rollout of UPS My Choice and the UPS Access Point network. She also oversaw multiple acquisitions and the opening of new or expanded facilities across Europe, including France, Austria, Poland, and Germany.
“The air freight industry is central to the development of trade and the global economy. With a senior management team of more than 1,200 combined years of experience, customers can rely on UPS to partner with them on their global logistics needs,” said Ms. Miller.
