Bangkok Airways and Thai Airways Form Air Cargo Partnership

Bangkok Airways and Thai Airways have signed a cargo cooperation partnership deal to share space on each others flights.

Ms. Amornrat Kongsawat, Senior Director – Cargo and Charter from Bangkok Airways and Mr. Dumrongchai Sawangchareon, Managing Director Cargo & Mail Commercial Department from Thai Airways, have signed a cargo special prorate agreement (SPA) to strengthen the airlines’ respective networks. The signing ceremony was held at Thai Airways Operation Center, Suvarnabhumi airport.

Through this cooperation with Thai Airways, Bangkok Airways cargo can be transported to China, South Korea, Japan, Taipei, England, Germany, France and Australia seamlessly, while Thai Airways cargo can be transported to Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos PRD, Vietnam, India and Bangladesh. In a statement the two carriers said that this partnership will not only offer customers of both airlines access to an extensive cargo network in Asia, Europe and Australia, but also help strengthen relationship between the two airlines. Earlier this year, Bangkok Airways and Thai Airways have entered into a code-share agreement to facilitate commercial sales, and to improve passenger convenience in flight connections.
