Swiss WorldCargo Holds Sustainability CSR Event

Swiss WorldCargo recently held a CSR event releasing turtles and coral plants, with the stated purpose of preserving the environment and helping to raise awareness about using resources more wisely. The airline invited staff and agents to join the event, which not only helps to raise awareness about environmental issues, but also strengthens and builds stronger relationships between employees and staff.

With the help from marine teams at Sea Turtle Conservation Center Royal Thai Navy at Sattahip, Swiss WorldCargo staff and agents together released sea turtles to the sea in Sattahip. Then they helped restore the sea by planting coral at Toey-Ngam beach at Sattahip sea naval Base, to help restore and improve the marine ecosystem. The coral plants will eventually be a new home to fish and marine life. The coral helps purify environment and sea ecosystem as well.

Starting from 1 April 2017, Swiss WorldCargo has introduced and encouraged customers to use e-AWB which helps reduce using paper. Now in Thailand, the project has succeeded 44.49 percent, and the airline is looking forward to achieving more with the cooperation from customers.
