ANA and NCA Sign MOU for Strategic Business Partnership
Japanese Airlines, All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding to form a long-standing strategic partnership which results in the enhancement of both the corporate values and the services offered by the two airlines.
Three elements of this partnership are integral to its success, Code Share, Block Space and Maintenance support.
ANA and NCA, subject to authorization from the relevant authorities plan to add code shares to their flight schedules resulting in a wider flight network and an increase in available options to the companies’ customer base. This new alliance will allow more convenient and seamless connections while enjoying the high-quality service experience that the airlines provide. Even more choice will be on offer to customers as they receive the benefits from the NCA Boeing 747 freighter service to Europe and North America, the ANA Boeing 767 service to Asia and China, and the plan by ANA to introduce more Boeing 777 freighters.
The two airlines with this partnership will expand the current block space and interline agreement to promote the optimization of the cargo space available to both of them resulting in a reliable and efficient connection service.
The final element to the new partnership agreement includes support for maintenance from ANA as they will allocate resources to support the NCA operation. Both carriers will actively share technical knowledge and abilities with one another.
The goal of this new partnership is to respond to the growing demand in airfreight while providing their customers with flexible and convenient options along with a high-quality service.
