American Airlines Cargo Moves Leading French Orchestra to Latin America and Back

American Airlines Cargo Increases International Network Reach

American Airlines Cargo has increased the international footprint with the addition of General Sales Agents (GSAs) in three new destinations outside of their network. The new destinations are Kuwait, Slovenia and Croatia, these new additions bring the company’s European network to 18 cities in 12 countries.

American Airlines have chosen the R-BAG a Central Eastern Europe and Balkans specialist company to represent them at Ljubljana Airport (LJU) in Slovenia and at Zagreb International (ZAG) in Croatia. The airline has chosen the Al Rashed International Group to handle their operations in Kuwait.

Commodities that are outbound from Kuwait will be mainly general cargo, however, for Slovenia and Croatia a more diversified range of cargo is expected to be shipped, such as pharmaceuticals and spare part shipments.

American Airlines Cargo Regional Sales Manager, Richard Hartmann said, “These are two great new additions to our international GSA network, both are highly experienced companies with a proven track record in working with exports to the USA.  Not only are they looking to send cargo to the U.S., but they believe there is considerable demand for service to onward destinations across our network in Latin America.”

American Airlines Cargo currently operates 455 weekly flights from the U.S. to Europe.
