dnata Renews License at Zurich Airport for Cargo and Ground Handling Services
Dubai Headquartered dnata was recently awarded a further seven years license to provide full ground and cargo handling services at Zurich Airport, the license is valid from December 2018 until December 2025.
This license renewal enables dnata to seamlessly transition from its current license to the new one without any negative effect on their operations.
Zurich Airport adhering to legislation requirements opened a public tender with dnata being successful in the bidding process once again.
Swiss legislation and the European Union require all airports and governmental authorities to open a bidding procedure every seven years for restricted airport operations activities.
Dnata Europe CEO, Mark Bradley said, “We are very pleased that Zurich Airport has found in us a reliable partner and has entrusted us to provide ground handling and cargo needs to our airline customers at the airport for another seven years,”
He further added, “Zurich Airport represents the best of Switzerland – precision, efficiency and uncompromising quality. We are committed to working hand in hand with all our airport partners to continue making Zurich Airport one of the best airports in the world.”
