AirBridgeCargo Airlines Sign MOU with PACTL for Chinese Pharma Solutions

Russian cargo carrier AirBridgeCargo Airlines has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Shanghai Pudong International Airport Cargo Terminal Co., Ltd (PACTL). The agreement is for cooperation in the sector of time & temperature sensitive shipments, with a strong focus on pharmaceutical and healthcare products.

Both companies are IATA CEIV Pharma-certified and the new MoU will allow concentration on operational enhancements for pharma shipments by leveraging innovative IT technologies, optimizing internal procedures and strengthening the skills of their workforce resulting in customers receiving the highest quality of service and achieving the optimum benefit to support the health of end-user patients across the globe.

PACTL Vice President, Christian Haug said, “Now it’s the right time to collaborate with AirBridgeCargo. PACTL’s IATA CEIV has been granted since the very beginning of 2016 and the PACTL Cool Center is the newest contribution to cool chain infrastructure for all temperature-sensitive goods in PVG. The facility is about 3500㎡ and with the capacity to handle 100,000 tons annually. Meanwhile, PACTL provides integrated, qualified, and reliable cool center solutions, and advocate eco-friendly concepts to improve the customer values. There’s no doubt that PACTL will assist AirBridgeCargo to coordinate with all parties for TTSP shipment handling and storage.”

The signing of the MoU took place on the first day of the Air Cargo China 2018 exhibition which is held in Shanghai bi-annually. The event is largely considered to be one of the world’s leading events for the logistics industry.
