Bolloré Logistics Receive CEIV Pharma Certification for Chinese Operations

The Chinese division of French-based Bolloré Logistics was recently awarded Center of Excellence for Independent Validators in Pharmaceutical Logistics (CEIV Pharma) certification by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

The certification was awarded for their facility at the Pudong International Airport Logistics Park located in Shanghai. Bolloré is one of the first companies in China to be awarded CEIV Pharma certification.

Bolloré Logistics China now fully conforms to all applicable pharmaceutical standards expected from pharmaceutical manufacturers in terms of facilities, equipment, operations and employees. Pharma professionals provide seamless efficient cool chain logistics throughout the whole supply chain.

Bolloré Logistics Shanghai General Manager of Operations, Jessie Zhou said, “This certification demonstrates our commitment to full compliance in handling pharmaceutical products and other temperature-sensitive commodities. Meanwhile, it will greatly reinforce our capability to further develop our core competency in transportation and logistics service for the healthcare industry.”

With the award of the CEIV certification, Bolloré Logistics China will now have a strategic advantage in the China healthcare logistics market offering a more enhanced air cargo service on a competitive level.

This new award is a testament to the dedication of the company to achieve only the highest international standards for the global pharmaceutical supply chain. Customers will receive many benefits as Bolloré continues to improve their processes and infrastructures to be compliant with IATA CEIV Pharma standards.

The China certification follows on from other certifications in Australia, Singapore and South Korea and is part of the company’s overall goal to deploy this action throughout their worldwide network with on-going certifications in the Asia-Pacific region.
