Turkish Cargo Awarded Cargo Airline of the Year
Turkish Cargo was recently awarded the “Cargo Airline of the Year 2018” at the Air Cargo China, World Cargo Awards 2018 ceremony. The Air Cargo China event is regarded as one of the most important fairs for the air cargo industry and is organized every year by Air Cargo Week Magazine.

This new award is just another part of Turkish Cargo’s successful rise within the industry and another step towards becoming one of the top five air cargo carriers in the world by 2023.
Along with the award for Turkish Cargo, 10 other awards were presented to other companies who have shown excellence in the air cargo sector.
The company were also awarded in April 2018 as the second best air cargo brand in Europe by the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) authority, one of the busiest airports in Europe and in the world in terms of passenger and cargo traffic.
Turkish Cargo has quickly become the fastest growing cargo carrier in the industry, due mainly to their outstanding performance in the global air cargo sector. The company continues with sustainable growth towards their 2023 goal along with further development of customized and practical solutions for logistical needs.
Earlier this month the company further strengthened their flight network with the addition of Brussels Airport in Belgium. This new hub will provide a destination for direct scheduled cargo flights.
The airline already has a considerable reach in the Air Cargo market serving 85 destinations with their fleet of 18 cargo aircraft. For the first phase of the new addition, flight frequency will operate every Saturday using their Airbus A310F cargo freighters.
Further expansion is planned for the second half of this year with the addition of Abu Dhabi (UAE), Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Karaganda (Kazakhstan), Misurata (Libya), Navoi (Uzbekistan), Quito (Equator) and Tokyo (Japan).
