Thai Cargo Agrees Five Year Contract with Worldwide Flight Services

Thai Airways Cargo Division, Thai Cargo recently announced they have awarded one of the world’s leading ground handling services providers, Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) a new five-year cargo handling contract for their operations in the United Kingdom (UK) and Ireland.

The new contract becomes effective on September 1st and will see WFS providing handling for THAI’s double daily Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 flights from London Heathrow to the Thai capital of Bangkok along with regional cargo handling across their UK and Ireland stations and transport network linking each airport location.

The UK and Ireland operations of Thai Cargo have will also relocate to WFS’ Building 550 in the World Cargo Center at Heathrow Airport. With the relocation, Thai Cargo will have a dedicated export facility with direct air-side access. The new site is in the optimum location situated adjacent to the UK Border Inspection Post (BIP) at the airport.
