Thai Airways Extend Partnership with WFS in France
The flag carrier airline of Thailand, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited recently announced they have extended their long-standing cargo handling contract with Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) in France.
With this new extension to their agreement, both companies have now had a close working relationship for over 35 years covering, cargo, mail and express handling at airports throughout France. WFS will also provide cargo security services and trucking operations between regional airports and Paris CDG for Thai Airways.
In addition to cargo handling onboard Thai Airways daily Airbus A380 flights between Paris and Bangkok, WFS will also oversee all offline handling at a further 12 airports in France.
EVP Cargo Europe Middle East, Africa & Asia (EMEAA) for Worldwide Flight Services, John Batten said, “To have earned a business relationship of this longevity with such a major international airline as THAI is a great sense of pride for WFS, and especially our cargo team in France. We understand the airline’s service requirements so well and underpin these with the highest levels of safety and security. We thank THAI for its continued trust in WFS and look forward to serving the airline and its customers for many more years to come.”
