Saudia Cargo Transports WWE Crown Jewel Event Equipment

The cargo division of Saudi Airlines, Saudia Cargo recently carried out a high profile transportation of equipment and supplies for the long-anticipated Crown Jewel tournament held by the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in Riyadh.

Thanks to the efficiency and professionalism of the dedicated operations teams at Saudia Cargo, the WWE event which is enjoyed and watched by millions of wrestling enthusiasts went ahead on time and as planned.

The Crown Jewel event was organized by the General Sports Authority and was held at the King Saud University stadium in Riyadh on Friday 2nd November 2018, in attendance were some the best professional wrestlers in the world.

Over 100 tons of equipment was transported by Saudia Cargo aboard one of their Boeing B747-8 aircraft. Equipment and machinery together with sound and lighting systems and other supplies were flown in from Maastricht, Netherlands, to Riyadh in the middle of October 2018.

This is not Saudia Cargo’s first WWE event, in April 2018 the air cargo carrier transported heavy equipment and machinery including the parts of the wrestling ring from John F. Kennedy International Airport to Jeddah.
