Worldwide Flight Services Awarded New Contract from Lufthansa

One of the world’s leading ground handling organizations, providing high-quality cargo, passenger, premium, ramp, baggage and technical services, Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) recently announced they been awarded a new contract by German air cargo carrier, Lufthansa Cargo for Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

The new contract comes in to effect on 1st February 2019 and will see WFS handle approximately 30,000 tonnes per annum, serving the German carriers combined trucked and flown products. WFS already serves 70 airline customers at Amsterdam Schiphol, handling more than 220,000 tonnes each year, and as a result of their continued growth, WFS expect further expansion of their operations at the airport in 2019.
