Volga-Dnepr Technics Moscow Awarded ISO Certification

One of the world’s leading Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) providers for both Russian and foreign aircraft in Russia, Volga-Dnepr Technics Moscow (VDTM), recently announced they had received certification certified for compliance with the ISO 9001-2015 international standard.

The strategic decision to implement a quality management system (QMS) was aimed at enhancing the company’s performance, reducing risks and providing a firm basis for its sustainable development. Efficiency and transparency of business processes have been vastly improved as a result of the QMS.

Bureau Veritas, a leader in testing, inspection and certification, recognized and accredited by leading national and international expert organization’s carried out the audit. Experts from Bureau Veritas studied the operating and performance features in a real production environment at the airports of the Moscow Aviation Hub (MAH), along with checks of all documented information related to the management system developed by VDTM.

Volga-Dnepr Technics Moscow CEO, Konstantin Surkov said, “Obtaining the certificate confirms that our company provides services in compliance with the high international QMS standards, meets customer expectations not only in terms of service quality but also in constantly expanding the activity range. The new ISO 9001-2015 certification covers all maintenance and repair of Boeing 747-400, Boeing 747-8, Boeing 737NG, Boeing 737CL, Airbus A320 and RRJ-95 aircraft types at MAH airports (Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo and Domodedovo), along with staff training on engineering and component repair.
