DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider, has opened a new service center in Thepharak, Samut Prakan, Thailand. This is the company’s 15th service center in the country, further strengthening its commitment to providing Thai customers with fast and reliable international shipping services.

The new Thepharak service center boasts 2,462 square meters of warehousing and office space, making it one of the largest DHL Express service centers in Thailand. Its strategic location near Suvarnabhumi Airport ensures shorter transit times to and from the DHL Bangkok Hub, which operates 85 dedicated flights weekly, connecting Thailand to 220 countries and territories worldwide.

“The opening of our new Thepharak service center is a testament to our ongoing efforts to enhance our service capabilities and support the growing enterprise and e-commerce shipment volumes between Thailand and the rest of the world,” said Herbert Vongpusanachai, Managing Director of DHL Express Thailand and Head of Indochina. “This facility not only strengthens our network but also underscores our commitment to sustainability and innovation in logistics.”

Enhanced Capabilities and Sustainability

The Thepharak service center is equipped with an advanced dual-view X-ray inspection system and high-speed sorting technology, capable of handling up to 900 shipments per hour. It also features a convenient service point for customer drop-off and pick-up.

The facility incorporates several sustainable features, including smart meters, LED lighting, and solar panels, reflecting DHL’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint. Charging stations for electric vehicles have also been installed to support future fleet electrification.

Supporting Thailand’s Growth as a Trade Hub

This investment aligns with DHL’s commitment to facilitating global trade growth and supporting Thailand’s position as a key logistics hub. The Thepharak service center is strategically located near several industrial estates, enabling it to effectively support international businesses and e-commerce activities.

In addition to the new Thepharak service center, DHL Express Thailand recently relocated a service center from Don Muang to Lamlukka, Pathumthani, further enhancing its service infrastructure.

These initiatives demonstrate DHL’s dedication to continuously improving its services and supporting Thailand’s role as a global trade enabler.
