Emirates SkyCargo Freighter New Signature Livery

Emirates SkyCargo has unveiled the first of its freighters to feature the airline’s updated livery. The Boeing 777 freighter, designated A6-EFV, was initially delivered in July 2024 without livery to meet immediate global demand. It has now been repainted at Emirates Engineering’s in-house paint shop.

The refreshed livery, applied over eight days by a team of specialists, includes a more dynamic and flowing design for the UAE flag on the tailfin, enhanced with a 3D effect. The iconic gold lettering in English and Arabic on the main body is now larger and bolder, while the Arabic calligraphy on the engines and the red branding on the aircraft belly are retained.

“Emirates SkyCargo freighters are some of the most instantly recognizable aircraft in the skies, flying valuable commodities to and from 38 destinations worldwide,” said Nadeem Sultan, Senior Vice President of Cargo Planning and Freighters at Emirates SkyCargo. “The investment in new livery represents our ongoing commitment to modernise our fleet, as we continue to build our capacity and unlock new opportunities to serve our global customers.”

The new livery, the third iteration since Emirates’ launch in 1985, will be gradually applied to all 10 Boeing 777 freighters in the Emirates fleet. The 13 new freighters on order will also be delivered with the updated design.
