Air Hong Kong congratulates Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) for once again being named the world’s busiest cargo airport in 2023, according to the latest data from Airports Council International. As an express all-cargo airline based in Hong Kong for more than 30 years and a member of the Cathay Group, Air Hong Kong is proud to be part of this success story.
Air Hong Kong Chief Operating Officer Clarence Tai said: “Hong Kong being named number one in the world for air cargo for the 13th time in 14 years is not just excellent news for HKIA, but also underscores the expertise and commitment of the local air cargo community.
“As a cargo operator at HKIA for more than three decades, we are committed to working together with our key clients as well as the Transport and Logistics Bureau, Civil Aviation Department, Airport Authority Hong Kong, the air cargo industry, and all other important stakeholders to continue to grow Hong Kong’s air cargo capabilities and further strengthen its position as the world’s busiest air cargo hub.”
Air Hong Kong operates a fleet of 16 freighter aircraft and is focused on providing cargo services to DHL Express. Air Hong Kong operates scheduled and charter flights to 15 major cities in Asia and the Middle East.
