MASkargo Cargo iQ Quality Certification

MASkargo has received its Cargo iQ certification after a successful audit of its air cargo operations. This is Malaysia’s first certification since joining the air cargo community in 2018.

Cargo iQ, a quality management organization, certified MASkargo for maintaining high shipment tracking and management standards across its global network. In June 2024, MASkargo reported 95% of its shipments to Cargo iQ, meeting the certification requirements.

Cargo iQ helps members create a robust quality management framework, part of which is a methodology for planning, controlling, and measuring the movement of shipments at various stages.

After successfully implementing the first steps in their quality roadmap, members may undergo a rigorous audit and progress to receive the title of Certified Cargo iQ member. This process aims to see members maintain high quality through working with Cargo iQ to maintain a monitored road map along the air cargo journey.

MASkargo’s Head of Operations, Zulkefly Ujang, expressed excitement, stating that this recognition highlights the company’s commitment to reliable shipment tracking and service consistency.

“We are extremely excited to join the distinguished list of Cargo IQ-certified carriers. The certification is a testament to our unwavering commitment to provide seamless critical milestone tracking capabilities of our customers’ shipments throughout our cargo and airline network.”

Cargo iQ certification is valid for three years. The criteria focus on shipment planning, visibility, and ongoing performance improvements.

Laura Rodriguez, Manager of Implementation and Quality Assurance at Cargo iQ, praised MASkargo’s achievement, noting that the certification is a testament to the team’s hard work and dedication.
