Pattaya Airways Co., Ltd. has officially kicked off its air cargo services between Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) and Yangon (Myanmar) on September 3-4, 2024. This milestone signifies the full-scale launch of its air cargo services as a prominent regional provider. With the utilisation of the ATR 72-500 Freighter, the airline demonstrates its capability to handle a diverse range of cargo types, thereby bolstering the logistics and e-commerce sectors across the ASEAN region.

In the third quarter of 2024, Pattaya Airways will concentrate on pivotal routes, including Bangkok–Yangon, Phuket–Yangon, and Bangkok–Phuket. These routes play a crucial role in facilitating trade connections between Thailand and neighbouring countries, as well as optimising the efficiency and smoothness of regional cargo transportation.

Looking ahead to the fourth quarter of 2024, the company is strategising to extend its routes to Cambodia and Vietnam to cater to the escalating demand for cargo services across the ASEAN market.
