Yusen Logistics has obtained CEIV Pharma certification at Narita International Airport in Japan. The CEIV Pharma certification is an air transport quality certification of pharmaceutical products formulated by IATA.
Combined with the joint CEIV Pharma certification, Narita International Airport says they established a community to provide even safer, high-quality pharmaceutical transportation in September 2019. As a member of the community, they have been working towards obtaining the CEIV Pharma certification with the support of Narita International Airport Corporation.
Their work providing safe and high-quality services through quality control and operational improvements have now been rewarded with the achievement of CEIV Pharma certification as of March 2021. As Covid-19 spread across the world, on-site audits by overseas-based auditors were not possible, but we were able to obtain the certification through online remote audits.
