ABDA Aviation was recently appointed General Sales & Services Agent (GSSA) by Ethiopian Airlines to manage their cargo business in Thailand.
In conjunction with this appointment, ABDA hosted a cocktail event on in Bangkok to introduce Ethiopian Airlines to as many as 100 key freight forwarding agency personnel.
During the event, ABDA’s Regional General Manager – Mr. Anthony See and General Manager – Thailand, Mr. Kavin Martinus introduced the various cargo products by Ethiopian Airlines that is available including the cargo charter services and the Pharma Wing product which was launched recently to facilitate the transportation of pharmaceuticals, PPE & vaccines which is essential in today’s environment.
Mr. Alem Bayu, Regional Manager of Ethiopian Airlines also spoke about the importance of the Pharma Wing division which is crucial in the transportation of the Covid-19 vaccines, potentially from Thailand to Africa and the rest of the world. Ethiopian is the world’s 4th largest airlines in terms of countries served and therefore plays an important role in the transportation of goods and cargo to all parts of the world especially at this crucial time.
