Etihad Cargo Unveil Revamped Cargo Loyalty Scheme and Launch New Customer Program

Etihad Aviation Group cargo and logistics division, Etihad Cargo, recently unveiled a re-brand of their cargo loyalty scheme named “PayloadRewards” and launched a new Global Customer program.

Etihad Cargo first launched its dedicated loyalty programs for air cargo customers in 2013; the newly revamped program is considered one of the world’s leading loyalty schemes with over 5,300 active members from 74 different countries.

Members of PayloadRewards will still be able to earn miles as previous, along with an added incentive to earn more bonus miles for general and premium cargo booked through Etihad Cargo’s new online booking portal at www.etihadcargo.com. Further benefits have also been added to enhance the whole experience when attaining Silver, Gold or Platinum Tier Status with PayloadRewards. New redemption opportunities will be progressively rolled out.

In their other announcement, Etihad Cargo unveiled a renewed Global Customer program; the program allows global freight forwarders to partner with Etihad Cargo on three distinct tiers: Global Account, Global Plus and Global Partner, each providing a range of different support levels.

Etihad Cargo’s newly appointed Senior Manager Global Accounts & Loyalty, Haleema Al Hosani had this to say, “Today’s unveiling of these commercial schemes is a proud result of the interactive dialogue we have been having with our global customers over the past months, aimed at enhancing our value offering. These programs have been designed to reward growth, trust and consistency, embedding a renewed customer-driven culture into Etihad Cargo’s modus operandi”.

These new developments at Etihad are a result of a review in 2018 to cat on this review by overhauling their commercial offering and align focus with their customers’ objectives.

Ms. Al Hosani added, “As we move steadily into the second quarter in 2019, these new customer programs are providing a major boost as they place the customer at the centre of our business, thanks to our new digital technology platform that went live last year, Etihad Cargo is able to use data-driven insights to keep our customer proposition at the cutting edge of the industry. These new customer programs have been designed with these insights in mind”.
