Seafrigo, a global leader in cold chain logistics specializing in food products, has opened its first office in Vietnam, located in Ho Chi Minh City. This strategic expansion aligns with Seafrigo’s growth strategy and aims to capitalize on Vietnam’s booming economy and rapidly expanding food export markets. The company has also appointed Fabian Hautiere as Managing Director to lead its operations in the country.
Vietnam, with its robust economic growth and free trade agreements with key partners, presents significant opportunities for Seafrigo. The company will focus on both air and ocean freight, handling exports of seafood and tropical fruits, as well as imports driven by growing consumer demand for high-quality international food products.
Fabian Hautiere brings extensive experience in the logistics industry to his new role. He previously served as National Key Account Manager specializing in consumer goods at Kuehne Nagel and has a strong understanding of the Vietnamese market, having lived in the country for the past 12 years.
“This is an exciting time to be setting up the Seafrigo business in Vietnam,” said Hautiere. “There are many specialist products such as pangasius, shrimps, dragon fruit, and mangoes, where we will be using our team’s cold chain logistics expertise to bring these goods to markets around the world.”
This expansion reinforces Seafrigo’s commitment to providing global cold chain logistics solutions and strengthens its presence in the dynamic Southeast Asian market.
