time:matters Adds Seven New Stations in China

Lufthansa Cargo subsidiary, time:matters, a German company that specializes in the urgent international shipping of spare parts recently added seven new stations in China to their already highly efficient network for worldwide Sameday Air transports. These latest additions are all part of their global growth strategy giving their customers access to 157 weekly direct flights between the European hubs in Frankfurt, Munich and Vienna and seven Chinese business centers.

With the new integration of stations into the Sameday Air network, time:matters now provides the fastest possible connection between China, Europe and the US. Time-critical shipments can now be transported to and from Shanghai (PVG), Shenyang (SHE), Beijing (PEK), Nanjing (NKG), Qingdao (TAO), Chengdu (CTU) and Guangzhou (CAN) with the usual high level of reliability and precision.

As a result of the fast handling and transit times, urgently required goods shipments will be collected and cleared through customs on the same day and will reach their destination in Europe, the US, Mexico or China within the shortest possible time.

The new stations in China offer very short handling times; export shipments will start at one-and-a-half hours while import shipments will start from two hours. Due to the 60 minute transit times or above at the major European hubs, time:matters is perfectly positioned to reach the 130 stations quickly within their unique Sameday Air network.

COO for time:matters, Lars Krosch explained, “We are now connecting key Chinese marketplaces with large business hubs in Europe and the US via our Sameday Air network; we plan to integrate further Asian stations, in keeping with our long-term goal of providing our customers with a global and highly efficient Sameday Air network.”

CEO of time:matters GmbH, Alexander Kohnen added, “The expansion into the Chinese market and foundation of a local subsidiary in Shanghai are key elements of our internationalization strategy, this will allow us to meet specific needs and requirements of our global customer base and to extend our global quality promise as well as our product range.”
