Turkish Cargo has received the “Fastest-Growing International Cargo Airline of the Year” award from STAT Trade Times, recognizing its exceptional performance in the air cargo sector. The award was presented at the ‘Air Cargo Africa’ exhibition and conference in Nairobi, Kenya.

Ali Türk, Chief Cargo Officer of Turkish Airlines, expressed gratitude to colleagues, customers, and business partners, emphasizing the airline’s commitment to expanding its global network and strengthening its industry position through operational efficiency and innovative logistics solutions from its SMARTIST facility.

The STAT Times International Air Cargo Excellence Awards utilize a two-stage evaluation process, involving document evaluation and industry professional voting. Turkish Cargo’s recognition highlights its expanding global flight network, the advanced SMARTIST cargo facility at Istanbul Airport, innovative logistics solutions, and dedication to sustainable growth.

Turkish Cargo aims to further its growth by increasing cargo destinations to 150, cargo aircraft to 44, boosting SMARTIST facility capacity to 4.5 million tons, and growing its operational volume to 3.9 million tons by 2033.
