WFS Appoints New General Managers in Belgium and Scandinavia

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has strengthened its regional management team in EMEAA with the appointments of new General Managers in Belgium and Scandinavia.

Michel Fiorani joins WFS, the world’s largest air cargo handler, as General Manager Belgium, based in Brussels. He has over 19 years’ experience in the air cargo industry having previously held senior management positions at Swissport, Emirates and Cargolux.

WFS has also recruited Jack Brandstrup as General Manager Scandinavia with responsibility for WFS’ cargo operations in Sweden and Denmark. Prior to joining WFS, Jack was a Director at the Danish environmental services company City Container. Based in Copenhagen, he brings to his new role a wealth of experience in operations management, supply chain and logistics gained over 25 years in the Danish environmental, postal and aviation sectors.

Michel and Jack report to Marc Claesen, WFS’ Regional Vice President North Europe Cargo.

Belgium and Scandinavia are markets where WFS is continuing to grow and invest and Michel and Jack will be responsible for driving our further development as well as ensuring we continue to meet the high standards for service, safety and security expected by our customers in Belgium, Denmark and Sweden,” commented John Batten, EVP Cargo, Europe, Middle East, Africa & Asia (EMEAA) at WFS.
