FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp., one of the world’s largest express shipping carriers, supports humanitarian services to earthquake victims in southern Turkey and northern Syria with the company’s global transportation network. The relief assistance amounted to over 1 million U.S. dollars or 33 million baht. This includes the delivery of essential relief items such as tents, blankets, baby items, household items and hygiene kits through the International Federation Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) weighing approximately 230 metric tons, transported from Dubai World Central Airport, home to the Asia Pacific Central Central Distribution Center. FedEx’s new Middle East and Africa (AMEA) to Istanbul via five FedEx MD-11 flights from February 17 to 21, 2023.
