Qatar Airways Cargo Cainiao Partnership Global E-Commerce

Qatar Airways Cargo and e-commerce logistics leader Cainiao have expanded their strategic partnership to accelerate global e-commerce delivery. The agreement was finalized at a ceremony in Hangzhou on September 10, aimed at strengthening connectivity and meeting growing demand for international logistics services.

Through the new alliance, Cainiao will more than double its weekly charter flights on key China-Europe routes. The move will provide merchants with a broader flight schedule and greater flexibility for delivering exports to Europe.

A Shared Vision for E-Commerce Logistics

The collaboration combines the extensive global network of Qatar Airways Cargo with Cainiao’s expertise in e-commerce logistics. According to Mark Drusch, Chief Officer Cargo at Qatar Airways Cargo, the partnership enables the companies to meet the evolving needs of the global e-commerce market and strengthens their presence in one of the world’s most strategic trade corridors.

Wan Lin, Chief Executive Officer at Cainiao, noted that the partnership is a step toward enhancing the company’s product competitiveness and achieving its long-term vision of global delivery within 72 hours. The expanded collaboration is expected to boost the efficiency of Sino-European trade and generate substantial economic value.
