Thai Airways Partners with ECS Group’s Aero Cargo Belgium to Boost Cargo Connectivity

Thai Airways has selected ECS Group’s subsidiary, Aero Cargo Belgium, for a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing cargo connectivity between Europe and Asia.

The agreement, effective February 1st, focuses on the Brussels (BRU) to Bangkok (BKK) route, providing seamless transit options to destinations in Australia, Korea, India, Japan, Manila, and Singapore.

Thai Airways, operating daily flights with Boeing 787-800 aircraft (15-ton payload capacity), will leverage ECS Group’s technology and the CargoTech digital tool suite. The partnership will cater to a variety of cargo, with a focus on pharmaceuticals.

Jean Ceccaldi, CEO of ECS Group, highlighted the partnership as a reflection of their commitment to long-term, value-driven relationships and operational excellence.

Bert Moortgat, Managing Director of Aero Cargo Belgium, emphasized the significance of the agreement, enabling customers to connect goods to global markets efficiently, particularly for high-value commodities like pharmaceuticals.

This collaboration is expected to strengthen cargo solutions between Europe and Asia-Pacific, combining Thai Airways’ network with Aero Cargo Belgium’s expertise.
