Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has secured a lucrative three-year contract from Turkish Airlines for ramp handling and cabin cleaning services at Denver International Airport in Colorado. This achievement comes as Turkish Airlines launched its 14th destination in the United States, with operations to Denver commencing in June 2024. The airline initially offered three weekly flights, which later increased to four weekly flights in July, using Boeing 777 and Airbus airliners for the Istanbul to Denver route.
WFS is set to deliver a comprehensive range of services for Turkish Airlines at Denver International Airport, including ramp, aircraft pushback, baggage handling, cargo loading/unloading, airside cargo transportation, and cabin cleaning. Paul Walton, the Senior Vice President of Ground Handling for the Americas at WFS, expressed pride in welcoming Turkish Airlines to the WFS family in Denver, emphasizing the city’s status as an important and growing market for both international and domestic airline operators.
With over 30 years of experience as a high-quality ground handling services provider at the airport, WFS has further solidified its position as a leading handling partner for airlines commencing flights to Colorado’s capital city. The company also holds the distinction of providing ground handling services for Turkish Airlines in Chicago while concurrently offering ground handling for 21 airlines in Denver, overseeing more than 9,000 aircraft turns annually.
Denver represents just one of 81 stations operated by WFS Americas in key cities across the United States and Canada.
