Cainiao Network, the logistics arm of Alibaba Group, and Daraz, South Asia’s leading eCommerce platform, announce plans to automate Daraz smart distribution centers in Pakistan. The distribution centers will be equipped with innovative smart technologies, such as an automatic assembly line and a smart distribution set-up. Utilizing Cainiao’s proprietary solutions, including e-PLC, control algorithm and WCS, it’ll ensure operational quality and stability.
The upcoming project is a new milestone for Cainiao as it marks its first deeply integrated network of distribution centers in South Asia. Furthermore, South Asia is one of the most exciting regions with access to over 500 million people, but it still contains untapped growth potential ready to be nurtured for the future. Cainiao is quite confident in its distribution centers and has previously built hundreds of automated distribution centers of various scales in the Chinese mainland and 10 smart distribution hubs across Europe, Asia, and America.
