Nippon Express sets Targets for Cutting CO2 Emissions

NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC. has set medium- and long-term goals for reducing the Nippon Express Group’s CO2 emissions to help realize the worldwide objective of limiting the global average temperature increase to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.

  • 2030 target – Aim to reduce the Nippon Express Group’s own CO2 emissions by 50% from 2013 levels
  • 2050 target – Strive across the Nippon Express Group to bring about carbon-neutral societies

The Nippon Express Group will continue practising sustainability management from a long-term perspective, supporting better lives for people and developing sustainable communities by addressing climate change in its business operations.
