Kerry Logistics Network Limited (KLN) has been chosen by Teva Pharmaceutical Hong Kong Limited (Teva) as its exclusive fourth-party logistics (4PL) service provider in Hong Kong, Macau, and other markets within the Greater Bay Area.
Under this agreement, Kerry Pharma, a subsidiary of KLN, will manage Teva’s supply chains, encompassing end-to-end pharmaceutical logistics solutions to ensure seamless distribution and consistent product availability. This collaboration aims to strengthen KLN’s presence in the critical pharmaceutical logistics sector and enable Teva to focus on its core business operations with enhanced logistics support.
KLN’s 4PL fulfillment services include inbound logistics, warehousing, distribution, billing, reporting, and export management, handling a portfolio of 190 SKUs across more than 3,000 delivery points, including hospital pharmacies, clinics, drug stores, and key chain channels. KLN provides multi-temperature storage, maintaining strict temperature controls for Teva’s general pharmaceuticals and sensitive items, ensuring cold chain integrity. Ocean and air freight options with KLN’s cold chain solutions are available for deliveries within the Greater Bay Area.
Samuel Lau, Managing Director – Integrated Logistics Asia of KLN, emphasized the exclusivity of the partnership, highlighting KLN’s commitment to quality service and its ability to manage Teva’s extensive product range. He also noted the handling of regulatory requirements, such as import licenses, and the close collaboration with Teva to better serve customers and respond to market demands.
Theodor Wee, General Manager of Teva Greater China, stated that the collaboration aligns with Teva’s “Pivot to Growth” strategy, focusing on improving patient access to medicines. Teva anticipates that partnering with Kerry Pharma will promote medical integration and innovation in the Greater Bay Area, leveraging the strengths of both companies.
