Rhenus Türkiye CEIV Pharma Certification

Rhenus Türkiye has successfully renewed its CEIV Pharma certification from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), solidifying its position as a trusted provider of pharmaceutical logistics. The recertification confirms the company’s commitment to adhering to the highest global standards for handling temperature-sensitive healthcare products with precision, care, and full regulatory compliance.

Rhenus Türkiye has been operating in the pharmaceutical logistics sector since 2021, guided by the principle that “behind every shipment, there’s a patient.” This philosophy has shaped its operations, from specialized team training and infrastructure development to robust risk management protocols. With this renewed certification, Rhenus Türkiye remains one of the few logistics providers in the country to hold this internationally recognized qualification.

Mert Gedikç, Managing Director of Rhenus Türkiye, commented on the significance of the achievement. “This certification is more than a requirement—it’s a reflection of our promise to customers and the people they serve,” Gedikç said. “We see every shipment not just as a product, but as something that directly impacts health and lives.”

In the Turkish market, CEIV Pharma certification is a rare accomplishment. The IATA standard is a global benchmark for operational excellence in pharmaceutical logistics. For Rhenus Türkiye, the recertification strengthens its position in the market, making it more competitive for major international tenders and assuring global pharmaceutical manufacturers that their products are handled with the highest level of care.

As part of the recertification process, Rhenus Türkiye took the opportunity to refine its internal processes. The team enhanced its performance indicator monitoring, adopted a more robust risk-based approach to daily operations, and expanded training through IATA’s Pharma program to further boost expertise.

“As Rhenus Türkiye, we don’t see this certification as just another requirement. For us, it’s a clear signal that we’re doing the right things for the right reasons,” added Gedikç. “We’re proud to provide pharmaceutical logistics that go beyond compliance—built on trust, consistency, and care for the people behind every shipment. For us, it’s not just a product. It’s a patient.”
