Air Charter Specialist Establishes Sixth Base in China to Enhance Regional Service and Response Times
Chapman Freeborn, the leading global air charter specialist and part of Avia Solutions Group, officially opened a new office in Zhengzhou on October 13. This new location is the company’s sixth in China, joining existing offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Chengdu, and Shenzhen, and builds upon the company’s long-term efforts to establish a secure foothold in the country, which date back to 2004.
Zhengzhou was chosen for its strategic location at the heart of China and its proximity to Xinzheng International Airport. The airport has a strong track record in handling diverse cargo, including outsized, irregular, and heavy-lift shipments, in addition to standard e-commerce parcels and express shipments. The office location further benefits from its close proximity to Zhengzhou East Railway Station and key cargo operators such as SF Express and Cargolux.
The new office team was recruited in September and is expected to further develop market resources across the country, enhance regional service capabilities, and boost response times. Allen Liu, President – Greater China, Chapman Freeborn, noted that this expansion will allow the company to deliver “even more professional, timely, and efficient air cargo solutions” to clients.
The Zhengzhou team will be led by Ms. Huizi Zhao (Bella Zhao), who recently joined the company as Manager for Central Greater China. Her responsibilities include leading charter and freight forwarding operations, driving commercial development, and ensuring high-quality delivery across the region. Under her leadership, the team will focus on expanding the Group’s partner network across Central China and providing a broader set of services to clients in Greater China.
