Oman Air Cargo has announced the launch of four weekly cargo flights between Muscat and Singapore, with services scheduled to commence on 2 July 2026.
The new route will be operated using a Boeing 737 MAX aircraft and is intended to strengthen trade links between Oman and Southeast Asia. Singapore’s role as a major global logistics hub is expected to provide onward connectivity across the Asia-Pacific region and support growing east–west cargo demand.
Michael Duggan, Head of Cargo at Oman Air, said the Singapore service would expand the carrier’s Asia-Pacific network and enhance access to one of the world’s key cargo gateways. He added that the route would reinforce Muscat’s role as a connector between the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Oman Air Cargo said the service will focus on specialised cargo, including imports of high-value consumer goods into Oman and export capacity for perishable products. The route will also increase capacity for cargo moving from Europe, particularly perishables such as flowers from Amsterdam, as well as automotive components and fashion goods.
The Singapore launch follows recent network developments by Oman Air Cargo, including the appointment of five new General Sales Agents and the introduction of new offline routes to Australia and Japan.
