Yusen Logistics Breaks Ground Green Logistics Center Northern Vietnam

On September 22, 2025, Yusen Logistics (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. broke ground on its newest strategic investment: a modern, environmentally friendly Logistics Center in Northern Vietnam. This new facility, which marks the company’s seventh logistics center in the country since 2008, is designed to enhance service capabilities and drive sustainable regional development.

Key Features and Strategic Location

The new facility, known as the Yusen Hung Yen Logistics Center, is strategically located at Land Lot CN8, Yen My Industrial Park, in Hung Yen Province. It occupies a 40,000 sqm plot and will feature an 18,634 sqm international-standard warehouse. Its location offers excellent connectivity to major industrial zones like Thang Long IP2, VSIP Bac Ninh, and the upcoming Gia Binh International Airport, positioning it as a key logistics gateway for the entire region.

Once operations commence in July 2026 (following construction completion in June 2026), the center will serve as Yusen Logistics’ main hub for Northern Vietnam, offering a comprehensive suite of features:

  • It will include a high selective racking system, 34 container docks with 12 dock levelers, and a heavy-duty 5,000 kg/sqm floor load capacity.
  • The center will use an advanced warehouse management system and maintain high-security standards.
  • It will also offer value-added services such as co-packing, labeling, and consolidation for nationwide distribution.

Commitment to Sustainability

A key highlight of the project is its commitment to sustainability. The facility will be built to LEED environmental standards, incorporating energy-saving materials, LED lighting, and air-conditioned storage. Furthermore, the center will be equipped with solar panels and dedicated EV charging stations, reflecting Yusen Logistics’ goal of driving sustainable growth.

This milestone reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering more efficient, sustainable, and customer-centric supply chain solutions in Vietnam.
