New 107-Tonne Capacity Aircraft Joins Fleet in Three Months, Bolstering Asia–Europe Service

AIR ONE International Holdings has marked a key achievement in its long-term growth and fleet modernization strategy by taking delivery of its second new-production Boeing 777 Freighter (777F) from Boeing. The aircraft will be operated by the group’s affiliated British cargo airline, One Air.

Fresh from Boeing’s Everett, Washington, production line, this 107-tonne capacity freighter is the second 777F to be added to AIR ONE’s managed freighter fleet within a three-month period.

Following the official handover, the new 777F is scheduled to arrive at the UK’s East Midlands Airport (EMA) on November 19, ready to immediately begin commercial operations. It will be deployed on AIR ONE’s scheduled Hong Kong–EMA route, which was launched in early September and is currently operated four times a week by One Air.

Enhancing Asia–Europe Network Reliability

The addition of the second 777F significantly reinforces AIR ONE’s commitment to service consistency and operational reliability across its extensive Asia–Europe network. AIR ONE is already recognized as one of the largest providers of all-cargo capacity between the two continents, having completed over 3,000 wide-body freighter flights and delivered more than 300 million kilos of cargo. The new 777F complements the group’s established managed fleet of 11 Boeing 747 Freighters.

Peter Scholten, AIR ONE’s Chief Commercial Officer, stated: “Taking delivery of a second 777F strengthens our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality services on key Asia–Europe trade lanes. It also reflects our focus on operational reliability and long-term commitment to developing a modern, efficient fleet capable of meeting our customers’ growing air cargo requirements.”

Chris Hope, Chief Operating Officer at One Air, added that the delivery showcases the readiness of their technical and flight operations teams to support the fleet and network expansion. He noted that the 777F continues to prove itself as a highly reliable and efficient aircraft, well suited to the customers’ evolving requirements.
