CEVA Logistics New Pharmaceutical Logistics Facility Strasbourg

CEVA Logistics is strengthening its pharmaceutical logistics offerings with the construction of a new 17,000 m² warehouse in the Strasbourg-Entzheim Airport Business Park. This new facility, set to open in early 2026, will provide comprehensive transport and logistics value-added services for the domestic and international healthcare market.

Strategically located in the heart of the Strasbourg Airport Business Park, the facility will benefit from close proximity to airport facilities, cargo players, airlines, as well as customs and police services. This prime location enables CEVA to offer a complete, integrated logistics solution with a high level of security for customers in the pharmaceutical sector.

Designed for Optimal Storage Conditions and Automation

The new platform is designed to accommodate large volumes of healthcare products. With a height exceeding 17 meters and quays equipped to receive active air containers, it will feature state-of-the-art inventory management and traceability systems. The facility will also incorporate the latest innovations in automation to ensure smooth and secure management of activities. It will offer three controlled temperature zones (+15°C to +25°C, +2°C to +8°C, and -25°C), ensuring optimal storage conditions for medical products.

A Facility Driven by CEVA’s Sustainability Approach

In line with CEVA’s commitment to improving the sustainability performance of its sites and local communities, the logistics center will be built to meet BREEAM certifications in the “Very Good” and “Biodiversity” categories. It will also feature rooftop solar installations for renewable energy and adhere to international certification standards such as TAPA FSR B, TSR 2, and ISO 13485 for cargo safety and security.

Strengthening Presence in Alsace

This new location in Entzheim further strengthens CEVA’s presence in the Alsace region of France, bringing its total to five logistics sites, three of which are temperature-controlled and serve healthcare products, totaling 32,000 m². The new facility will be CEVA’s second in Entzheim, complementing existing facilities in Sausheim, Mulhouse, and a site in Strasbourg acquired in 2024 as part of the pharmaceutical activities of Stef Logistique Santé. This future hub will give CEVA 70,000 m² of space in the region, including 32,000 m² dedicated to the healthcare sector.

Fabrice Dalla Muta, Director of Operations, Healthcare, at CEVA Logistics in France, stated, “The construction of this new logistics site, designed to meet the constraints and requirements of our customers in the pharmaceutical industry, marks a new step in our strategy to develop our logistics activities for this sector. With this new strategically located facility, we will continue to support our customers in their development and growth.”
