Nippon Express (Australia) Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Nippon Express Holdings, has opened a state-of-the-art logistics warehouse in Kemps Creek, New South Wales, to meet rising demand for efficient and sustainable supply chain solutions in the region. The NX Kemps Creek facility, which commenced operations on May 12, spans 17,000 square meters and is designed to handle high-tech products and consumer goods.

Located in The YARDS industrial estate, the warehouse benefits from excellent transport links, including close proximity to major highways and the upcoming Western Sydney International Airport, scheduled to open in 2026. The estate is notable for being the first in Australia to achieve a “6 Star Green Star Communities” certification, reflecting its strong focus on sustainability and integration with the local community.
The NX Kemps Creek facility features a high-rise rack system with a ceiling height of 14.6 meters, optimizing storage capacity and efficiency. In addition to core warehousing services such as receiving, shipping, picking, and packing, the site offers flexible value-added operations including kitting, product assembly, and price tagging. Looking ahead, the company plans to introduce temperature-controlled storage to cater to the pharmaceutical sector.

“The new warehouse strengthens our logistics capabilities in Australia and supports the evolving needs of our customers’ global supply chains,” said Fumiya Adachi, President of Nippon Express (Australia).
By integrating advanced logistics systems with sustainable design, NX Australia is positioning the Kemps Creek warehouse as a key hub for both domestic and international operations.
