Nippon Express Holdings has integrated its Indonesian business units to strengthen its operational structure and improve service delivery across the market.
The integration, effective 1 March 2026, combines the operations of PT. NX Lemo Indonesia Logistik and PT. Nippon Express Indonesia under a unified framework.
Consolidating Air and Ocean Freight Functions
The move brings together the Group’s air and ocean freight forwarding activities, which were previously managed by separate entities. By consolidating these functions, the company aims to simplify customer engagement and establish clearer points of contact.
The integration is expected to improve response times, enhance service quality and support more efficient solution delivery for customers.
Supporting Growth in a Key ASEAN Market
Indonesia represents a key growth market in Southeast Asia, supported by strong economic performance, a large workforce and rising consumer demand. Logistics demand in the country is expected to expand in line with continued economic development.
Prior to the integration, the Group handled air freight forwarding through PT. Nippon Express Indonesia, while ocean freight forwarding and logistics services were managed by PT. NX Lemo Indonesia Logistik.
Advancing One-Stop Service Strategy
In 2025, the NX Group introduced a “One Indonesia” sales team to provide integrated, one-stop customer support across its business lines. The latest integration is intended to further strengthen this approach.
By consolidating its forwarding operations, the company aims to reinforce account management, improve operational efficiency and enhance the overall customer experience.
The development forms part of NX Group’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in key markets and deliver integrated logistics solutions across its global network.
